Eagan's urban forest is an important part of what makes this environment special. Protecting the health and vitality of our trees is a key part of the work done by the City's forestry staff. Eagan has established a Shade Tree Management Program to help control shade tree diseases, pests, and insect infestation in our parks, public and private spaces throughout the community.
