Individual Sewage Treatment Systems (ISTS) are called septic systems. The City of Eagan regulates septic systems through a Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) ordinance.
All septic work needs to be done by a licensed septic professional. The MPCA maintains a list of professionals that are licensed to install, inspect, design and pump/maintain septic systems.
