Goat Hill Park
Goat Hill Park (4391 Lexington Ave) is a winter destination for winter ice sport and activity enthusiasts. The site features two rinks with a beautiful, staffed shelter building with sight lines to both rinks. The south rink is covered and refrigerated. The north rink is non-refrigerated with no cover.

Use Definitions
Community Use: This time is open to all. Uses can include neighborhood pickup hockey, neighborhood pickup broomball, general ice skating, etc. Sticks, pucks, and balls are permitted during this time. Organized practices and games are prohibited during this time.
Leisure Skate: This time is open to individuals and families looking to enjoy leisure skating with no interruptions from pucks or balls on the ice. No sticks, pucks, or balls are allowed during this time. In the calendar below, green leisure time takes priority over community use during that designated time.
EHA Practice: There is time designated for the exclusive use of the Eagan Hockey Association to conduct official practices. This time is scheduled Monday - Thursday, 5 - 9 p.m., Fridays, 5 - 9 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. See calendar below for updated community use availability on the south rink.
Goat Hill Schedule
Note: Both rinks at Goat Hill Park will not be available to the public on Saturday, January 10, for EHA's annual Mite Tournament.

Different rink locations have separate classifications. Read below for class descriptions and location specifics.
Class A Sites
Each class A site includes a staffed shelter building, two hockey rinks, lights, and a pleasure rink. Hockey sticks are not permitted on pleasure rinks. Hours listed are for typical staffed warming house hours. Please refer to the top of this website for what specific sites are open and closed.

- Clearwater Park Family Skating Site
- 4580 Pilot Knob Road
- This site includes a staffed shelter building on weekends, a large skating surface, and user-activated lights during the week. This site is a pleasure skating facility only. Hockey sticks are not permitted on the ice.
- Hours: Class A Rinks and Clearwater Rink*
- Monday - Thursday: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon - 8:00 p.m.
*Timed lights accessible with user button on light pole near rink. Lights shut off at 9:00 p.m.
Class B Sites
Each site offers a hockey rink and a pleasure rink, and user activated lights, but no staff on site. Hockey sticks are not permitted on pleasure rinks.

Your source for tubing hill information.
Eagan Parks & Recreation encourages you to call the hotline at 651-675-5511 (press 3) for tubing hill information. The hotline is typically updated one hour before the opening times and throughout the day if weather and site conditions change. Sites may be closed, hours altered, and programs cancelled if:
- The temperature is -10 degrees or colder.
- The wind chill index is -15 degrees or colder, per the National Weather Service.
- Snow or ice has accumulated to a point where it cannot be cleared by city staff.
- Warm temperatures cause significant melting.
