City of Eagan Conducting Finalist Interviews for Police Chief Position

Eagan, MN - The City of Eagan is pleased to announce that after an extensive recruitment process conducted with the assistance of GMP Consultants, finalist interviews for the position of police chief will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

Following a competitive selection process, the two finalists are:

• Lieutenant Bryan Johnson, Operations Lieutenant, Eagan Police Department
• Commander Salim Omari, Major Crimes Division, St. Paul Police Department

This is an important step in the City’s comprehensive recruitment process to select a highly qualified leader for the Eagan Police Department.
