Application Information and Requirements for Permit to Purchase Firearms
- Applications can be obtained at the below link or in person at the Eagan Police Department - Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00
- Application must be complete and legible with all highlighted signature lines signed and dated by applicant
- Applicant must be an Eagan resident and provide current MN Driver’s License or ID Card showing current Eagan address
- Application and a copy of your photo ID must be scanned and e-mailed to

- Applicant will be e-mailed and given instructions on how to pick up their permit card
- Permit expires one year from date of issuance
- Failure to provide true and complete information may result in application not being approved
