Sensory Bags

For individuals who need a few extra tools to help make the most of their time at events, the City of Eagan will have sensory bags available to check out free of charge. Sensory bags are equipped with various fidgets, noise-cancelling earmuffs, sunglasses, and other tools. You can pick up a sensory bag at the event welcome tent when you arrive and return it upon leaving.

Sensory Quiet Space

The City of Eagan will provide a Sensory Quiet Space at select events for individuals to take a break when needed. Inside the Sensory Quiet Space, you’ll find beanbag chairs, blankets, fidgets, and other tools. Visit the event welcome table for the Sensory Quiet Space location.

Community Events

Sensory bags will be available at the following events.

  • Holz Farm Harvest Festival at Historic Holz Farm (4655 Manor Drive)
    Saturday, Sept. 19 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. 
    Tickets required for individuals 12 months and older available at discovereagan.com or on-site. Cost is $3/person. 
  • Community Story Trail at Thomas Park (4425 Pilot Knob Rd)
    Friday, Oct. 9 from 4:30–6 p.m.
    Free — no registration required.
  • Halloween Trail Walk at Viking Lakes (2685 Vikings Circle)
    Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
    Admission tickets will ONLY be available at discovereagan.com
    Cost is $6/child, adults free with food donation to The Open Door. 
    A sensory quiet space will also be available for use onsite. 
  • Eagan Market Fest at Goat Hill Park (4391 Lexington Ave S)
    Fall Market: Sept. 2–Oct. 7 from 4–7 p.m.

Flexible Fee Options

If you’re an Eagan resident and need assistance with Eagan Parks & Recreation activity fees, our flexible fees program can help cover costs. We accept donations for the flexible fee program from businesses and individuals. Just select the “Donate Now” button on the registration page or call Parks & Recreation at 651-675-5500.
