On November 9, 2020, at 8:58 PM, Eagan officers responded to a report of gunshots near Eagandale Place and Lone Oak Road. When officers arrived, they located one male victim on the southeast side of Sonesta Suites with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. That male was pronounced dead at the scene.
A short time later, Eagan officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area and took a man and woman into custody. Both were transported back to the Eagan Police Department and remain in custody.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. This does not appear to be a random incident, however the relationship between the suspects and victim are still under investigation.
