Cyndee Fields began her first term on the Eagan City Council in January, 2001. She began her sixth term on the Eagan City Council in January 2020. Prior to serving on the City Council, Cyndee served on the Eagan Advisory Park Commission.
Council Member Fields serves on the Public Works and Personnel Committees of the Council. Cyndee has served as Acting Mayor in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2021.
She and her husband Larry have four children, Sam & Andrea Fields, Jared & Chelsea Fields, Jeremy & Erica Lindboe, Tim Lindboe and nine beautiful grandchildren.
Council Member Fields serves on the Flint Hills Community Advisory Council. She has also volunteered her time and has received awards for her work with the Minnesota Twins Salute to Education program. In 2003, she was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Metropolitan Council Nominating Committee.
Previously, Cyndee was chair of the District 196 Curriculum and Instructional Committee and has served on the board of directors of the Eagan Athletic Association as director of the In-House baseball program. She also has served on the site council for Eagan High School, Dakota Hills Middle School and Red Pine Elementary. She helped to establish the Red Pine Elementary Parent Teacher Organization when the school opened.
Cyndee is employed at RBC Wealth Management working in Culture and Field Experience.
Cyndee’s two sons who have graduated from Eagan High School and the School of Environmental Studies and still reside in Eagan.
