Applications are reviewed on a strict schedule that includes specific dates for application submittal to City Staff, recommendation by the Advisory Planning Commission, and consideration by the City Council. The entire process from application to final approval or disapproval by the City Council takes a minimum of seven weeks.

  • Conditional User Permit or Interim Use Permit
  • Preliminary Subdivision
  • Preliminary Planned Development
  • Rezoning or Planned Development Amendment
  • Comprehensive Plan Amendment
  • Any other item to be reviewed by the Advisory Planning Commission (APC)

Please note:

  • Variance applications must be received three full weeks in advance of the City Council meeting at which it will be considered
  • Final Planned Development typically go to the City Council as a Consent Agenda item, but sometimes require review by the Advisory Planning Commission
  • Final Subdivisions and Final Plats typically go the the City Council as a Consent Agenda item without Advisory Planning Commission review
