Running the day-to-day operations of the City is the primary job of the Administration Department. We want our residents and the public to be proud of the service provided by their City. Dianne Miller, City Administrator, is appointed by the City Council and carries out the direction and policies of the City Council. The structure of the City Council and City Administrator is similar to a business’ Board of Directors and CEO.
Administration includes the City Clerk/Election Office, along with Information Technologies. We also serve as staff to the Eagan Airport Relations Commission and provide coordination with the City Attorney’s office.
