Electrify Everything sessions help residents make homes comfortable and efficient

— Eagan is once again offering this free, educational program to help homeowners learn about the steps of electrifying their homes, the financial incentives available to help lower costs, and what to ask contractors when upgrading.

“If you’re planning to replace an old appliance or looking for ways to make your home more comfortable and efficient, this series is for you,” Eagan’s Sustainability Manager Gillian Catano says. “Bring your questions to these workshops and leave with a plan to improve your home’s comfort, health, and sustainability!”

In partnership with Electrify Everything Minnesota, Eagan will present this series of workshops geared toward homeowners who want to learn more about replacing natural gas equipment and appliances with efficient electrically powered alternatives.

Wednesday, Aug. 19 (webinar) or Thursday, Sept. 10 (in person): Session 1: Get Amped: The Basics of Electrifying Your Home

Come to one of two intro sessions to get an overview of how to electrify your home, find incentives and contractors, and start planning your electrification journey. This session features the same information presented last fall, 2025.

Thursday, Oct. 8 (in person): Session 2: Stay Cool, Stay Warm: Heat Pumps Demystified
Discover when they make sense for your home and how they can provide efficient heating and cooling year-round. This new in-depth session will cover key questions to ask contractors when planning your projects and evaluating heat pump options.

Thursday, Nov. 12 (webinar): Session 3: Hot Stuff: Electrifying Water Heating, Cooking, and Clothes Drying
