Eagan Celebrates Earth Month With Expanded Lineup of Activities and Events

— Residents of Eagan are invited to celebrate Earth Month with free, family-friendly events and hands-on ways to support the environment all April long.

From tree planting and community cleanups to educational programs and activities for all ages, there are many ways to get involved. Flexible options like Green Up Eagan allow participants to choose when and where to take part, making it easy to contribute.

“Last year, we introduced a full week of activities for the first time. This year, we’re excited to expand those efforts into a full month of programming,” says Gillian Catano, Eagan’s Sustainability Manager. “We’re focusing on fun, accessible ways for residents to take meaningful action. From cleanup events like Green Up Eagan to initiatives like the Teen Clothing Swap, there are many ways to get involved.”

Highlights include the Earth Day Celebration, Teen Clothing Swap, Sustainable Eagan Academy, and Climate Action Bingo.

The Earth Month celebration will begin with Climate Action Bingo, a monthlong challenge encouraging residents to take small, impactful steps. Get your bingo card at cityofeagan.com/se-bingo.

“We’re looking forward to connecting with residents throughout the month,” Catano added. “It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together and take part in meaningful action.”
