Sustainable Eagan Academy features sustainability experts
Free sessions are held monthly January through May in Eagan.
Eagan, MN — The Sustainable Eagan Academy is a free, educational program designed for high school students and adults interested in sustainability. Each session features a youth speaker followed by expert presentations on a variety of sustainability topics, offering participants a chance to learn from different perspectives and engage with the community.
Launched by the Sustainable Eagan Advisory Commission, a group of residents passionate about sustainability, the Academy provides an opportunity for meaningful learning and community connection. Participants who attend four out of five sessions in 2026 will receive a certificate of completion.
No prior knowledge or experience is required. All sessions are from 6:30–8 p.m. on Thursday evenings. “This is a great opportunity for residents to explore sustainability topics, ask questions, and connect with fellow community members,” Sustainability Coordinator Gillian Catano said. “Join us for one session — or more!”
