Eagan’s Historic Town Hall Opens Its Doors

Eagan, MN — The Eagan Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the City of Eagan. One way the organization brings that history to life is through its Historical Town Hall Open House. On Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m., community members are invited to step back in time and discover Eagan’s past.

“People are always amazed when they come in,” Eagan Historical Society member Lynae Gieseke says. Visitors can explore photographs of influential people and significant places in Eagan, along with artifacts from different periods in the city’s history. One notable feature is the original stove once used to heat the building, which remains a centerpiece of the historic town hall.

The event is free and open to the public, offering a welcoming opportunity for community members to connect with Eagan’s history.
