Eagan’s Tree Sale Opens Thursday, Feb. 5

Beautify your yard and add to our City’s tree canopy.

— Planting a tree is a simple yet impactful way to improve our community. After all, trees enhance our air quality, reduce heat, support local wildlife, and increase the beauty and value of our city and your property.

Fortunately, the Eagan annual tree sale is coming up, beginning Thursday, Feb. 5. If you’re a resident, you can purchase up to two trees from a limited selection of high-quality, Minnesota-hardy, bare-root trees for $45 each at cityofeagan.com/treesale. Please note: There’s a limit of two trees per household.

Tree varieties available include:

  • Ironwood
  • American Sentry Linden
  • Prairie Fire Crabapple
  • Northern Acclaim Honeylocust
  • Bi-color Oak
  • Sienna Glen Maple
  • Norway Spruce

Tree pick up will be Saturday, May 2, at Central Maintenance Facility, 3501 Coachman Pt., Eagan.

“Protecting and growing our tree canopy is important. That’s why we offer a chance for Eagan residents to buy trees each year through a City-sponsored tree sale,” Eagan Forester Adam Schnaible said. “We know that as partners, the City and residents, we can maintain and grow one of our community’s best assets.”
