During the month of May, the Eagan Police Department has noted a recent increase of daytime burglaries between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.  In a majority of cases, suspect(s) are gaining entry into the unoccupied homes by forcing open the front door, or entering through unsecured doors and windows.  Items taken include electronics, money and jewelry.
